The Michele Byerlee-Black Memorial Scholarship Program provides a one-time scholarship to students of Fairfield County Ohio who demonstrate academic promise, spiritual maturity and aspirations for higher education. This year we will award three (3) local high school seniors the Michele Byerlee-Black Memorial Scholarship each in the amount of $100. Michele Byerlee-Black was a faithful member of New Connections Community Church (NC3) and an active participant in the nurturing, educating and spiritual enrichment of children and youth. To honor her memory and enlarge the impact of her life, NC3/Tender Loving Bearz has established the Michele Byerlee-Black Memorial Scholarship Program.

2016 Scholarship award:

We are pleased to announce that Trevor Young, student at Amanda Clearcreek High School, has been awarded the Michele Byerlee-Black Memorial Scholarship. Trevor Young will be attending Ohio University Lancaster in the Fall to pursue a degree in Communications. Congratulations Trevor!
